Sanctum of the H’run - Personal Project

Sanctum of the H’run was a level inspired by the Diablo Series and designed using Lowpoly assets.

This map was designed to capture the top-down perspective of an Action-RPG, while balancing just enough environmental details to evoke the location’s history without cluttering the space.

I aimed and successfully achieved a level that:

  • Interesting Line of Site obstruction to encourage tactical movement

  • Use of Volumetric Lighting to create Mood

  • Multiple entrance points in the library to strengthen a horde game mode

  • Balance of asset density to complement Low-Poly environment

  • Use of snapping grid to keep the level tight and seamless
