Stormgarten Level Design - Personal Project

Stormgarten was a level inspired by the Vermintide series using Lowpoly assets.

The design of the level captures a small village living in the shadow of a domineering castle.

The design process included the following from start to finish: white-boxing, play testing, asset placement, lighting placement, VFX placement, and decoration placement.

I aimed and successfully achieved a level that:

  • Makes use of “Weenies” to guide player path

  • Makes use of natural transitions between multiple diverse environments

  • Rewards exploration of the town with many optional branches

  • Tutorializes movement controls at the start of the level.
